Living Soil MDV: Live Delivery Guarantee & Terms

We offer a live delivery guarantee with the following terms:

​

• Receipt and Delivery: You must be available to receive the worms or notify us in advance to request a "Hold at Post Office" on your package. If the worms are left unattended in a mailbox or outside, the live delivery guarantee will be void.

​

• Delivery Responsibility: We do not guarantee live delivery if the worms are left in a mailbox or on the porch, so please inform your postal carrier that you are expecting a live delivery. We are not liable for any postal service errors; please monitor your tracking and delivery.

​

• Dead on Arrival (DOA): If your worms arrive DOA, there are no refunds; however, we will offer a one-time replacement. To claim this, you must notify us within two hours of delivery, along with a video or images showing the deceased worms and shipping label. Contact us here to file a claim.

​

• Address Changes: If your shipping address changes after placing the order, the live guarantee will be void.

​

• Replacement Limit: We will cover one replacement shipment at no additional cost to you. For bulk orders, see additional terms below.

• No Refunds: Refunds are not available for worm shipments. To submit a DOA claim, please visit our Claims Page.

Bulk Order Terms:

• Live Guarantee Exclusions: Bulk worm orders are not covered by our live delivery guarantee unless overnight shipping is purchased. Please call to arrange this service. If overnight delivery is not selected, you will be responsible for replacement and shipping costs.

• Local Pickup Option: Bulk orders may also be picked up locally; please call in advance to confirm stock availability.

Shipping Process

• Shipping Carriers: We ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Orders placed before Friday will be shipped on the following Monday; if we cannot fulfill all orders on Monday, remaining shipments will go out Tuesday. Bulk orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only.

• Delivery Timeline: Worms typically arrive within 2-3 days across the continental United States. Shipments may be held during extreme weather conditions, especially if temperatures are 90°F or higher.

• Tracking: An email with tracking information will be sent within 12 hours of shipment if an email address is provided at the time of order. Please monitor this email for updates.

• ​

• Packing: Worms are shipped in breathable bags within sturdy cardboard boxes and packed in dry peat moss. They may appear smaller or slightly dehydrated upon arrival; they will regain up to 30% of their weight after rehydration.
